Paul Rom, RN, BSBA, CNOR, RNFA
Paul began his nursing career as a Nursing Assistant in 1970. He received his diploma in Nursing from Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital School of Nursing in 1976. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Aquinas College in 1999. He was certified as an operating room nurse in 2001. Paul began his career as an RNFA in 1979 at the Cleveland Clinic and is currently re-certifying as a registered nurse first assistant. He’s been a member of AORN since 1988.
Paul also has significant experience in the medical industry employed by cardiac surgery focused companies such as Pilling, DLP. Medtronics and Carbomedics. His positions included Senior Product Manager, Clinical Specialist and Business Development Marketing Manager. He holds an additional appointment at Baptist Health Louisville as a cardiac quality analyst for the Quality and Outcomes Management department. He is experienced in endoscopic vein and radial artery harvest.
